PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE REMINDERS: 

• Conference week is 9/18-9/22

• Parent conferences are in-person. If a parent requests Zoom, please accommodate. 

  • Make every effort to meet with the parents of all your students.

  • Parent conference is an opportunity to discuss a student's current academic, behavioral and social-emotional status. 

  • Celebrate the positives about the child.

  • Share concerns with the parent, explain how the concerns will be addressed at school, and discuss how the parent can support at home.

• Home/School Compact: Review the Compact during conferences. Your time on this can be brief. Lizbeth will be placing these in your box by Tuesday, Sept 12. If you feel like you need more, please let her know. You can also share digitally (they are on the school website here)

  • Home School Compacts - after meeting with parents, the teacher keeps the English copy until the end of the year. Please give the parent a copy in the preferred parent language.
