New Vaccine Clinic in La Puente at Sunshine Park For Families
Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Chair Hilda L. Solis launched a new COVID-19 community vaccination clinic this week, in partnership with Fulgent Genetics and the Department of Parks and Recreation at Sunshine Park, 515 Deepmead Avenue, in La Puente. The opening of this clinic will ensure that residents over the age of 18 can easily access a COVID-19 vaccine in unincorporated South San Jose Hills, in the area of La Puente and surrounding communities.
The site will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 8am-4pm and will deliver up to 250 vaccines per day. To schedule an appointment, community members and families can make appointments at vaccine.fulgentgenetics.com. People with appointments will be prioritized, but walk-ups are also accepted at this site.

As of April 4th, only 30 percent of eligible residents were vaccinated in Unincorporated South San Jose Hills, well below the County average of 40 percent. This vaccine clinic will allow residents to receive a vaccine locally, without having to travel to a County-run megaPOD.
