The Rowland Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a non-profit volunteer group of parents and teachers dedicated to the enrichment of the students and the community. PTA is a thriving child advocacy organization--it's the nation's largest!
Our PTA has a board has elected officials and meets once a month. All parents of Rowland Elementary students are encouraged to join the PTA and attend the General Association meetings [Back to School (September), Founder's Day (February), Open House (May)] throughout the year where we all meet as a "Community of Learners".

Parents are an integral part of our school and of the education of our children. The family is expected and encouraged to be involved in school life. We rely on and welcome the community to help in classrooms and organize events.
Rowland Elementary PTA Objectives
•To promote the welfare of our students and their families
•To raise the quality of the Rowland experience for all students
•To support the work of the state and national PTAs in securing laws for the care and protection of children and youth
•To create a closer relationship between parents, teachers and staff that allows for greater cooperation and innovation in building programs that benefit Rowland students
The PTA has fundraisers throughout the school year. The moneys raised are used to purchase materials and activities such as:

Rowland Elementary PTA and its programs provide many opportunities for you to become involved in your child's educational experience. One of the easiest ways is to join the PTA. With your participation and support, the PTA can provide a variety of enrichment projects and activities for our students and the community.
